Gender created to derive power out of male sex organs. We have gender so that patriarchy can rule and masculinity dominates. I am in flux through this power hierarchy because of my alternate gender/transgender status, and I because of my physical androgyny and pscyhological gender fluidity am able to traverse and screw up the power structure, playing both sides and understand both roles. To be a diva is what I aspire, and for this androgyny and fluidity serves itself well.
Dancing to both tunes of man and woman, I live and breath in a world in flux, where power is shown and seen as bitches and witches are created and unseen. dancing here, dancing there, ‘Im only looking for a teacher, to show me the steps of this dance that i don’t know.
I know only to be as the question, and I know only being as the answer to that question. being is more basic than man or woman, being is deeper than the gender binary, being sidesteps all forms of power derivatives to the point that we get to the simplest level of you and me, when power is conceived and constructed on the individual level and there is no oppression, only choice and freedom.
